Book Haul!

I’ve purchased new books recently and I don’t think I’ve talked about them, but I’m so incredibly excited to read them! πŸ˜€ I also tried to make my pictures a little but more pleasing to the eyes, but it’s still a work in progress so bare with me. (:

THEY’RE SO BEAUTIFUL. I CAN’T. OH MY GOSH. *insert eye emoji here*

14449024_10155286775502926_6596003716863681176_nLook at the gorgeous Mist and Fury! I read A Court of Thorns and Roses a few weeks ago and loved it. I really rebated on if I wanted to read this, but everyone says this one is 10x better so I figured it was worth a shot. The first book to this trilogy (?) is a Beauty and the Beast re-telling about a girl and a faerie. It was a beautiful twist on the beloved Beauty and the Beast. Although I had some problems with it -read review here– I still adored the book. Read the synopsis via goodreads [here].

14448968_10155286775557926_1699467347147915449_nI’m extremely excited to read this haunting novel by Marieke Nijkamp as well. It’s told in a span of 54 minutes through 4 perspectives. It’s about a shooting in a school. I’ve read the first few lines and I know I’m going to love it and be terrified at the same time. I don’t know if it’s been done before in YA, so I’m excited to see how it pans out. Plus this cover is amazingggg. Read the synopsis on goodreads [here]

14495231_10155286775542926_4454089979919644846_nI love, love, love novels about real life problems and characters dealing with extremely hard topics because I feel like they move me in ways no other books can. Girl In Pieces, from what I can tell from the synopsis, is about a girl struggling with self-manipulation and  depression. It’s definitely not an easy read, but it sounds so good. Excited to dive into this one as well. Read the synopsis on goodreads [here].

Lastly, I bought Trial by Fire and Fire Walker by Josephine Angelini. It annoys me that they still haven’t changed the hardback cover of Trial by Fire to the new cover yet. I really love the new covers, but I got sick of waiting for the cover to change that I bought the books regardless. I love Josephine’s Starcrossed trilogy so much so I’m hoping this trilogy is just as good. I can’t even put into words on how to explain what the stories about so read the synopsis [here].

Have you read any of these books? Did you like them? Hate them? Love them? Tell me why in the comments! (just no spoilers please πŸ˜‰
