Birthday Book Haul

Sooo, it was my birthday on October 7th. That means I obviously needed to purchase some books for myself. I bought all of these on bookout. I suggest booktoutlet if you live in the United States or Canada and have not heard of these glorious beauty of a website. One book not shown is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets illustrated edition. My boyfriend got it for me for my birthday. (:

I have been waiting to read The Body Finder for so long. I’m beyond excited to have found it in hardcover. I’m also excited to find this surprised signed copy of The Revenge of Seven! Super excited. I love this series by Pittacus Lore. It’s a fantastic book about aliens. I wish the movie would have done better because I loved it, but oh well. I believe The Body Finder is about a girl that can hear the dead? or is it where she can hear the killers? Either way it sounds amazing. Read synopsis: The Body Finder | The Revenge of Seven

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Every Heart A Doorway.I’m not 100% what it’s about. I’ve heard people compare it to Harry Potter and Narnia because of how magical it is. I’m really hoping that’s the case for me. I wasn’t exciting it to be so tiny. From what I’ve gathered, Walk on Earth a Stranger is about a girl who can sense gold and someone tries to murder her so she flees to California. No Parking At The End Times seems like a fun travel, road trip book. I love books that go on road trips. They’re so fun. This book doesn’t have great reviews so I’m nervous, but hoping to like it nonetheless. The Glass Arrow is a book I’ve had on my TBR for a long time. I loved Morgan Matson’s book Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour so I’m hoping I like these books as well. I have zero clue on what either of these books are about. I just know they’re contemporary novels. However, The Unexpected Everything involves some scandals. How excited :3  Since You’ve Been Gone sounds like a book about friendship. I don’t have much to say about these besides they’re glorious and I love Harry Potter. I own so many Harry Potter books, it’s becoming a real problem. I’m so glad I found these to add to my collection of Harry Potter books and goodies. (: These  covers are so pretty. Does anyone have an obsession with Harry Potter? I really love this bareback spine to this book. It’s gorgeous. Again,I can’t explain much of what this book is about either besides a girl being locked in a cellar and dealing with dark family secrets while there is a killer on the loose. Love this cover. Read Synopsis: A Madness so Discreet
