Stacking my shelves and 2017 goals

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic New Years! I unfortunately did not. I’ve been battling a pretty wicked sinus infection all weekend. So I’ve been on bed rest, taking lots of bubble baths with vicks and eucalyptus, as well as taking lots of meds and getting lots of cuddles from my boyfriend. But I thought I’d make a post on my 2017 goals and a book haul to start off this new year! 😀

My 2017 goals:

Put less stress on reading. I didn’t read a whole lot in 2016 and felt terrible about it so I want to put less stress on myself to read so much this year.
Put less stress on Blogging. I feel like I don’t blog too much. I feel like I don’t post enough to keep people interested, which is still because I only do my blog as a hobby. I want to continue blogging, but I want to put less stress on myself by blogging only at least once a week, sometimes more. 🙂
Spend less money. I spent way too much money, especially towards the end of last year. I don’t make a lot of money to begin with. I want to potentially move out and move in with my boyfriend by the end of the year so in order to do that, I need to make sure I’m spending less money on stuff I don’t need.
Watch more Netflix. I also watch the DVDs I get from Netflix, but I never actually watch Netflix… I need to start utilizing my account more. Any good Netflix shows I need to watch??

Now for stacking my shelfs (and kindle…). I ended up getting a kindle gift card for Christmas for I bought a few books.. I bought all five of these books. I had $12 left over from my gift card, but ended up using it on something else (shhh…).

The Graces by Laure Eve| Super excited for this. I love the cover. I was going to buy it one day but show the reviews on goodreads and became a little iffy, but have heard nothing but great things about it. So I’m hoping to actually like it! It’s about witches or magic….
The Luxe by Anna Godbersen| Honestly have no idea what this is about besides it’s historical fiction and I love the covers. I’ve been dying to read this series for years. :3
My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows| Again, have no clue what this is about but I love Cynthia Hand. I’ve heard this book is freaking hilarious. I’ve been dying to read it but the hardcover is $18! So I got the kindle version for $1.99… WIN!
The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout| Is this a romance? No clue. Sounds decent… heard decent things about it, for the most part. Figured I’d give it a try!
The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig| This is some kind of time travel book, I think. Also a book about a girl sailing the sea with her dad. It sounds so good 😀
I participated in the TBTB Secret Santa again… and these are the books my Secret Santa sent me! Super excited for them!
The Boundless by Kenneth Oppel| A middle grade book about a train ride and a murder!? Sign me up, please! Plus that cover is gorgeous!
Symptoms of Being Human by Jeff Garvin| My Secret Santa loved this book and I’ve been dying to read it so I’m excited to dig into it 😀 It’s about a gender fluid character! 😀
Pivot Point and Split Second by Kasie West| I think this is a douolgy but the character can look in the future and see what difference choices have as an outcome to pick the “right” choice… if that makes sense. Sounds super amazing… I’m hardcore into Kasie West right meow.
On the Fence by Kasie West| Really just bought this to read even more Kasie West books. She’s the queen at contemporary. :3
