I cannot stand dry wine, especially dry red wine. Sweet all the way! Sadly, I have no idea who created this tag. :c

Box Wine:
A book that people will judge you for liking but you like it anyway.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer 

Twilight use to be huge. People use to go on and on about how much they loved it. Until the movies showed up. After the movies, it felt like more and more people started hating Twilight. More and more people started judging those that like(d) it. I personally still love the story. I still love Edward and the Cullen clan. I feel no shame. Twilight is the saga that literally sparked not only my love for reading but sparked my interest in joining the book community. For that I will forever be grateful.

Organic Wine:
A book that doesn’t have any added crap in it and is just written perfectly.

Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan 

This book. This book. My god, I loved this. It was beautiful and heartbreaking and just bloody brilliant. It’s told in such a unique formate. The book is only 194-196ish pages and it changed my view on life in such a huge way. I can’t explain it. I’ve always been for equal rights but this book moved in ways other books haven’t. Highly recommend this story!

Gluehwein:
A really spicy, wintry read.

The Iron Fey saga by Julia Kagawa

I don’t know why, but this saga reminds me of winter. It’s hilarious and as the saga goes on, it gets even spicer. I loved all the characters. Ash and Puck are brilliant characters. There are some scenes that take place at the Winter Court and it reminds me of winter plus the magic in the story makes the story…well… magical.

Sauvignon Blanc:
A really sharp and aggressive read that you couldn’t put down.

A Court of Mist and Fury (#2) by Sarah j Maas

Do I really need to say more? This book was seriously fantastic. It was, in my opinion, aggressive in many parts with different characters. There are new characters and a new story line and the book was ugh <33 Highly recommend everyone read this. The books just keep getting better and better!

Pinot Noir:
A book you didn’t expect much from but ended up getting blown away.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

I know, bad right? But honestly, I wasn’t expecting too much from this. I’m not huge into historical fiction. I’m also not huge into books with a lot of hype. I simply bought this book because the whole death telling the story sounded interesting and because of the hype. But man, I was blown away. The book is beautifully written and incredible deep. There’s many life lessons written between the lines, which I really appreciated 🙂

Chardonnay:
A good summer read that was super-zesty.

The D.U.F.F by Kody Keplinger 

I don’t think this book is necessarily “summery” but it’s definitely my favorite contemporary novel. It has a great life lesson. It’s also super sexy (note: don’t read this book if you’re uncomfortable with graphic life sex-scenes in YA). Plus Wesley Rush? He’s a total tool but he’s my ultimate book boyfriend, forever and always. <33

Rose:
A book that has a little bit of everything in it.

Cinder Saga by Marissa Meyer 

 

A crazy sarcastic android? Check. A man that’s part wolf? Check. A cyborg? Check. A princess that’s a PoC? Check. Magic and an evil queen? Check. This saga is brilliant. There are so many characters that it’s hard to keep track of them all, but I love every single one of them very dearly. I honestly miss this saga so much. I’m very tempted to reread it.

Shiraz:
A full-bodied book that is dark and juicy.

Nevermore by Kelly Creagh

This book is the perfect definition of dark and juicy, literally. It’s better to go into this book without knowing anything. However, I will tell you that Edgar Allen Poe does take a big part in this story. It was such a creepy read but it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

Merlot:
A smooth easy read with a soft finish.

Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler 

This book was so stinkin’ cute. Plus the ending was adorable. I don’t remember too much besides a girl that loves ice skating ends up coaching a guys hockey team and somehow along the way, she finds love. It was the perfect light read. Well done, Sarah!

Champagne:
Your favorite book.

Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma 

Although I don’t have a “favorite book”, I do have books that I very much love and would reread them over and over and over again. Forbidden being one of those books. This is one of those books where I will constantly recommend it. It’s a deep story, but brilliant. It’s heartbreaking and sappy and loving and such freaking fantastic. 😀
