Stacking My Bookshelves… Again…

Hello everyone! Long time no talk. I know. It makes me sad. I’ve just been in a huge reading mood lately. I don’t want to do anything but read. So that’s what I’ve been doing… well, reading and neglecting my blog… However, I have acquired some new books recently! 🙂

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard || I’ve heard great things about this book. I don’t know too much about it besides it being about witches, but I’ve been super into fantasy lately. I’m super excited to read it 😀

The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser || I think book was originally in German? I don’t know but it’s about a girl that can jump into other books. It reminds me of Inkheart by Cornelia Funke, but this book still seems cute!

Scythe by Neal Shusterman || Long ago, I read a book called Bruiser by Neal and absolutely loved it. Ever since then I’ve wanted to test out more of his books. Scythe is a violent book about ending people’s lives to keep the population from overflowing. It sounds sooo good!

Passenger by Alexandra Bracken || Honestly, the only reason I bought this book because Sarah J. Maas has a quote on the cover raving about this book. But the book also sounds pretty interesting… except I don’t remember too much about it, tehe.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber || I keep seeing “Carnival” every time I look at the cover of this book. I can’t full explain what the book is about it but it sounds soooo good. I’m super excited to read it 😀

The Shadow Hour (#2) by Melissa Grey || I read The Girl At Midnight by Melissa (book 1) last year with a friend and loveeeeeed it. It’s about magic but it was hilarious. I’m so excited to read the second book with my friend! Highly recommend the trilogy.

The Last Olympian (#5)  by Rick Riordan || Once upon a time, I had books 1-4 of Percy Jackson. I still needed the 5th book so I bought the paperback off Book Depository. The picture was of the old Percy Jackson covers (so that’s what I assumed I was getting). Instead, BD ended up sending me the new Percy Jackson cover so the final book didn’t match the rest of the books ): I ended up complaining to my boyfriend about it so what did he do? HE BOUGHT ME THE OLD PERCY JACKSON BOOK COVER. It’s in hardback so it still doesn’t match my paperback series but it was the thought that counts. And for that, I am forever grateful 🙂
