I don’t trust any Myer-Brigg test except for the test on humanmetrics.. this is where I always take my tests.
What is your MBTI personality type?
My primary personality type is an ISFJ whereas my secondary personality type is an INFJ (I say secondary because I did the meyer-brigg test for several years and I was always an ISFJ until I retook it recently and got INFJ… that and my boyfriend read both descriptions and said I’m still an ISFJ haha)
ISFJ- Quiet, friendly, responsible, and conscientious. Committed and steady in meeting their obligations. Thorough, painstaking, and accurate. Loyal, considerate, notice and remember specifics about people who are important to them, concerned with how others feel. Strive to create an orderly and harmonious environment at work and at home.
INFJ- Seek meaning and connection in ideas, relationships, and material possessions. Want to understand what motivates people and are insightful about others. Conscientious and committed to their firm values. Develop a clear vision about how best to serve the common good. Organized and decisive in implementing their vision.
What is your personality like?
I’m a very quiet person. I’m always stuck in my own head but I’m always conscious on how others are feeling. I would rather take other’s pain than deal with my own. I tend to put other people’s feeling before myself. I’m also always wondering what motives people and why they do the things they do. I think this is the reason I love communications and sociology so much. It’s fascinating.
If you were a character in a book, what would be some of you character strengths and flaws?
Strengths: Creative, Insightful, Inspiring, Decisive, Determined and Passionate, Altruistic, Supportive, Reliable and Patient, Imaginative and Observant, Enthusiastic, Loyal and Hard-Working, and Good Practical Skills
Weaknesses: Sensitive, Extremely Private, Perfectionistic, Can Burn Out Easily, Humble and Shy, Take Things Too Personally, Repress Their Feelings, Overload Themselves, Reluctant to Change, Too Altruistic.
Do any authors share your personality type?
There are literally no authors that are either ISFJ or INFJ 😦
What fictional characters share your personality type?
ISFJ- Narcissa from Harry Potter
INFJ- Remus Lupin from Harry Potter
If you were a character in a book, what job would you have?
I fit somewhere in Healthcare. I seem to fit more with a counselor or nursing. And I’m going to school to hopefully become a Long-Term Care nurse. :3 However, that seems like a lame job for a character in young adult book… So I’d probably be in a lame adult romance or something XD
What personality type would complete your OTP?
When it comes to romantic relationships, Advocates (INFJ) take the process of finding a partner seriously. Not ones for casual encounters, people with the Advocate personality type instead look for depth and meaning in their relationships. Advocates will take the time necessary to find someone they truly connect with – once they’ve found that someone, their relationships will reach a level of depth and sincerity that most people can only dream of.
Defenders (ISFJ) are most attractive when they are simply being themselves in a comfortable environment such as work, where their natural flow shows this kindness and dedication. Relationships built on established familiarity are a warm prospect for Defenders – they take dating seriously and only enter into relationships that have a real chance of lasting a lifetime.
It’s funny because my boyfriend has the complete opposite personality from me. He’s an ENTP- ENTPs prize their ability to understand others and communicate effectively, and have an ongoing interest in improving themselves and their relationships. They want to know how their partners’ minds work, and are creative in coming up with solutions to interpersonal problems.
I think we complete each other simply because his strengths are my weakness and vise versa. We help each other with our weaknesses and such. Plus I probably wouldn’t leave my house as much if it wasn’t for my boyfriend. But it’s also nice because even if my boyfriend is an ENTP, he still has his introverted moments and he understands my need for quiet which I really appreciate.
Who are some fictional characters that would complete your OTP?
I just googled ENTPs simply because I feel like that would complete my OTP since my relationship with my boyfriend is pretty strong. I got Augustus Waters and I’m tots okay with that. I also got the Weasley twins ❤
I can totally see a YA about a student who wants to go into Long Term Care nursing! Maybe she volunteers at a nursing home and gets close to one of the resident’s family members… 🙂
I’d read that.
