Hello fellow readers!
Sorry I’ve been MIA for 6 months. I’ve been in the biggest reading slump of my life. I’m not sure what’s going on. I just haven’t found the joy in reading for past year and a half. I’ve been buying quite a few books, but I haven’t been reading.
The last book I read was around March and it was just a reread of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. I also read 2 managa’s recently which were pretty good. After that, I’ve read nothing. And I feel bad for slacking so bad on my book blog. I really did enjoy doing it and being apart of the book community.
Another reason I’ve been slacking so much is because my mental health as been declining for the last 6 months. I’ve been more anxious and depressed. I was on medication but it stopped working so I changed meds and now I’ll be attending counseling at the end of the month. I’ve started a blog as like a diary for my anxiety and depression if you want to follow along or maybe not feel so lonely. My other blog is called Diary of an Anxious Girl. (:
I’m hoping to get back into blogging. I just need to get back into reading first. I need to find my joy that kept me reading but I’ve lost it.

I just got back (not even a month ago) after disappearing from the book-blog sphere for an entire year so from one recent returnee to another: welcome back! I would give you a run down of what’s happened since you were gone but… I honestly don’t know what has. (Sorry.)
I hope that the new meds and counseling help with the mental health struggles, I know they make things about a hundred times tougher than they have to be sometimes, and I’m glad you’re getting help!
