Hello fellow readers!
I’m putting myself on a book buying ban. I have two books that I have pre-ordered and will be receiving sometime in the future; however, I need to put a hold on buying books. I’m starting college back up (after 4 years) and textbooks are expensive. I’m also only working part-time so money is limited.
I’m still going to be reading though! I have tons and tons of books I need to read that I already own. I am also trying to read more books from the library app! I should probably check out my local libraries and get physical copies too.
I’m not sure when I’ll get rid of this ban. Hopefully by the end of the year. It’s so sad.
In the mean time, what books do you suggest I borrow from the library? What books should I read? I’ve currently been in a fantasy/paranormal mood.
Good luck!
I don’t read many fantasy, so don’t have a lot of recommedations. My fave was The Name of the Wind. Have you read it?
I’m on a Netgalley ban now since May. Most likely till the end of the year 😂

I have not; however, it is on my TBR list! It sounds so good! I also need to go on a netgalley ban… I have like 4 books I have to read from there and I’m stressed about them even if it’s not a lot XD

I don’t have any recommendations at the moment (have you read The Diviners or The Shades of London series?), but I did want to comment in solidarity with your decision! I actually just read a blog post this morning that might interest you:

I’m currently listening to The Diviners on audiobook 🙂 but I have not read Shades of London. And thank you for the blog post Lori!
