July Wrap-Up

Hello readers,

This is a little late but here’s my July wrap-up! Holy cow, how is July over already? It’s almost 2019 already! I had a relatively decent reading month. I sadly didn’t get to all my books on my TBR but I read most of them!

I read quite a few books but I only got around to reviewing 3 books this month:
Lost Boys (ARC)\\ This book was…. different. It was okay but definitely not my favorite.
✬✬
The Hating Game\\ This book was hilarious and fun and cute and everything I needed.
✬✬✬✬
Meant to be Broken (ARC)\\ This book was more than just a love story. It was a lot deeper than I was expecting!
✬✬✬✬

The books I read but didn’t around to reviewing are the following; however, if you click the link, it’ll take you to my review of them on goodreads! (I never really wrote a review for To all the Boys I’ve Loved Before):
Emergency Contact\\✬✬
-Zero Chemistry
-Wasn’t too found of the characters
-Took awhile to get into
Almost DNFed

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before\\✬✬✬
-Did not like Lara Jean
-Found the writing to be boring
-Seemed kind of instalovey
-Fun cheesy romance for the summer

I also started two books in July! One was an ARC and the author was an Audiobook! I started both of these at the very, very end of July so I never actually finished them in July

The Darkest Roots was an ARC that I received and The Diviners was an audiobook I started. It’s really creepy to listen to it! I’ll be honest. It’s different.

Random Statistics:
Average Rating: 3
Pages Read: 1,761
Book Read:5
Audiobooks: Started 1
ARC’s:2
DNFed: 0
Favorite Book: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
Least Favorite Book: Emergency Contact by Mary H.K Cho

Personal Things:
-Started playing Pokémon Go again! My boyfriend and I played it for 6.5 hours.
-Saw the Incredibles 2. I surprising enjoyed it. It was a lot longer than I was expecting though…
-I also saw Ant-Man and the Wasp. I enjoyed that one a lot better than the first one!
-Going along with the movie train, I also go Moviepass. I heard it’s going down hill but I’m still excited for it! I’m excited to see how it goes.

  1. The Hating Game is still on my TBR. Sorry you didn’t enjoyed To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. It was an easy read, fun and fluffy I think.. but I do agree of the instalove and cheesy romance. Pokémon Go is that addicting? 6.5 hours playing.. wow.. hehe..
