Dog Sitting Week Books!

Hello! I just wanted to post a quick update. I am dog sitting for someone for the next week at their house. I am feeling ambitious and bringing six books with me! I am currently reading The Kiss Quotient and almost finished with it. I am also reading Child of Blood and Bone but I’m only on chapter 2! XD Have you read any of these? Thoughts?

The books are the following:

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

  1. ahh, best of luck with dog sitting! that sounds so fun, and I would love to try some day!

actually, i’ve read all of the books you’re bringing, which is a shock. falling kingdoms is good, but i feel like the series peaked in the third book and it kinda went downhill from there :(( the night circus was a very magical read though, and I would love to reread, because I don’t think I got the full experience when I first read it! i think that your selections are all promising, and I hope you enjoy/ed all of them ❤

    1. Thank you Caitlin! I just had to put my doggy of 13 years down in July so I’ve been dog sitting to be surrounded by fur babies ❤

i'm sorry to hear that about Falling Kingdom! It's amazing how many series are good at first and then get pretty meh after. I feel like that happens with SO many trilogies. The 2nd book never lives up to the 1st!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday, dear!
