Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here.

This weeks topic is: “Books I Wish I Read As A Child”

I honestly don’t have very many books for the prompt this week! But without further-ado, here are some books I wish I had read as a wee little grasshopper.

Harry Potter
The Lightening Thief

A Series of Unfortunate Events

I read Harry Potter and The Lightening Thief once I hit high school. I loved them both so much. I sometimes wish I read them as a child because they’re so magical. I wonder what kind of experience I would have had. I also loved the movie to A Series of Unfortunate Events. I just never got around to reading the books. 😦

Where the Sidewalk Ends
Because of Winn-Dixie

Where the Sidewalk Ends was a pretty popular books when I was younger. I didn’t ever read it because I wasn’t a huge reader as a child. Reading the poems now are super fun but they would have been fun when I was little, too. I loved the Winn-Dixie movie. I honestly didn’t even know it was a book until I was doing this Top Ten Tuesday! I think I would have really enjoyed this. It was so much fun to watch so I’m sure it’s just as fun to read.
