Books read in April

Hello all you beautiful people! I read 5 books in the month of April! This is a huge shock to me. I have been in a crazy reading slump for the last several years. I think it mostly has to do school. I’m currently going to college full-time. Only 3 more semesters until I can finally say I’m a college graduate! WOOOO! Anywho, here are the books I read 🙂

Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde \\ ✬✬✬✬
This was a super fun book. I really enjoyed it. I wish it would have been longer than what it was. Overall it was a feel good book. Fantastic! 

Seven Days of Friday by Alex A. King \\ ✬✬✬
This was fulllllll of drama. It was one of those cheesy books that I hated but also couldn’t put down. I don’t even know if that makes sense. I just know it was fun to read regardless. I doubt I’ll continue with the series though. 

Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott \\ ✬✬✬✬
This book was straight up weird, but in a good way. I really enjoyed it. It’s a little like the Hunger Games with some Pokemon thrown in. I would love to read the 2nd book but I heard there is a cliffhanger and the 3rd book might never be published. ): 

Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia \\ ✬✬✬✬✬
This book was amazing. I don’t even know how to express my love for this book.  I did not like the ending but WOW. This book has Mexican mythology and takes place during the Jazz Age. How much better can it get? 

Harry Potter and the Sorcers Stone by J.K Rowling \\ ✬✬✬✬✬
This will forever be one of my favorite worlds. I listened to this on audiobook. It was magical. I think this is my 5th time reading it. I’m not sure. Either way, I love it.
