Blogging 101: How to Write Your Favorite Post || Lets Talk Bookish

Why Do I Follow_

Hello! I’m here today to do a fun new Meme!

Let’s talk bookish is a weekly meme, created and hosted by Rukky @Eternity Books  & Dani @ Literary Lion, where we discuss certain topics, share our opinions, and spread the love by visiting each other’s posts.

This weeks topic is: Blogging 101: How to Write Your Favorite Post

My favorite posts to create are discussion posts, which is funny because I feel like I’m always lacking ideas to create discussion posts. XD I’ve always been fairly scared to share my opinion but I have started stepping out of my comfort zone. I’m so glad I have!

Step One: Come up with an idea
I tend to gain my inspiration via other bloggers or conversations I have with friends much like my recent discussion post called Crushing On YA Boys As An Adult. I don’t have a great way to come up with ideas. I just try to stay open minded and work with anything I come up with.

Step Two: Develop your feelings
It is hard to really form a discussion post for me personally, if I don’t know how I feel about the topic. I tend to enjoy reading discussion posts were people write their own personal feelings. I think it’s such a fun way to see different POVs!

Step Three: Write it
My discussion posts are usually full of rambles. I never have a true direction of where I’m going. I just write what I feel and write what I want to say and hope for the best XD

I have roughly 16-20 drafts currently saved that are discussion posts. I still haven’t formed my thoughts yet so they’re still waiting to be typed. Ah, I just love them so much. What are you favorite post to write? Let me know down below 😀

  1. I love writing discussion posts, although I definitely don’t write enough of them – it can just be so hard to format them when I have so many things to ramble about! My other fave posts to write though are definitely my monthly recaps! They’re just so fun to write and I love how they can be less structured 🙂
    Great post!

  3. I’m glad you like writing discussion posts because they’re one of my favourites to read! I write in a similar way to you, I just let out all my opinions and hope I get to an end. I think that’s why they’re so fun to write for me.
