Holy wow, okay. I’m gong to share my thoughts on Shadow of the Fox trilogy! This will be zero spoilers so feel free to read without worry. 🙂
This trilogy is amazing. I loved Julie Kagawa’s Iron Fey series! Honestly I loved that series so much I was almost scared to read this. I wasn’t sure if it was going to live up to my expectations; however, it blew me away. I personally felt like the books got better as they went on. I know that doesn’t always happen.
I found Shadow of the Fox to be a bit slow in the beginning but I adored Soul of the Sword and Night of the Dragon so freaking much! I felt like Night of the Dragon was pretty predicable; however, I was not predicting it to hurt my as much as it did. I loved it.
This trilogy has a full cast of such wonderful characters. I can’t explain how much I loved every single one of these characters. Yumeko, the main character, was my favorite. She is my favorite character as of right now. She’s so pure and innocent and silly. She also has a heart of gold. I’m not really sure what else to say. I’m just really glad I read this. :3
