What are you currently reading?

Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I’m reading this book incredibly slow but I’m still enjoying what I’m reading. I’m still not 100% sure what the story is about yet but I think I have a general idea. I’m reading my physical copy as well as a library book so it’s easier to take with me (I can read on my phone or on my computer at work). I also borrowed the audiobook from the library so I can listen to some of it before bed. I’m not a huge fan of the narrator though.

What did you finish reading?

You Should See Me In A Crown by Leah Johnson. This book was everything. It makes me so happy. I picked it to on a whim and I’m so glad I did! You can read my review here if you would like 😊

What do you think you’ll read next?

Honestly, I’m not sure. I’m kind of in the mood for some dark spooky books. But I also don’t want to burn myself out from reading those before October 🤣 I might try and reread Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I started it a few years ago and enjoyed what I read. I just feel into a stupid reading slump and never finished it.
