Hello all you wonderful people!
I decided I’m going to do blogtober for the month of October. If you don’t know what it is, it’s just blogging every single day for the whole month of October! I wanted to start this month off by posting my October TBR π

Servants of the Storm by Delilah S. Dawson. This cover alone kind of creeps me out. I can’t really tell what this book is about based on the synopsis. All I know is there was a hurricane and now the main character is seeing things. It’s classified as fantasy and gothic on goodreads though π

Crazy House by James Patterson and Gabrielle Charbonnet. I’ve been meaning to read this one for October for the past couple of years. I hope I end up enjoying it. It’s about a girl that gets kidnapped and sent to this “crazy house” and the only one who can help her is her sister. But then I think the people running the crazy house tries to kill the sisters. It sounds intense. This image doesn’t do it justice but the cover is absolutely stunning.

Blythewood by Carol Goodman. I’ve had this on my TBR for way too long too and always had hopes to read it for October. When the time came I was never in a reading mood. π¦ This is about a girl who escape an insane asylum and then goes to Blythewood academy. However, Blythewood isn’t everything it appears to be. This is classified as gothic and paranormal on goodreads. I love me some paranormal readings π

The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert. I’m not sure how creepy this is but it sounds like it’s a girl whose grandmother wrote stories that ended up coming to life. She then has to venture into them to save her mother. I’m not 100% sure but it sounds really fun. I loved Inkheart and this kind of reminds me of Inkheart π

I Have No Secrets by Penny Joelson. I think this is the book I am most excited to read for this month. It’s about a girl who is paralyzed and cannot speak. She knows who the killer is but she can’t tell anyone because of her disability. Then new technology comes and the MC might be able to bring the killer in or he might strike her down. It sounds like an intense thriller. I’m super excited!

Have you read any of these? Let me know down below π
I’ve heard mixed things about the Hazel Wood, but everyone seems to love the fantasy aspect of the story. I hope you’ll enjoy all of these books!
